Historical Bakery circa 1887, one of a few in Victoria with fully operational wood fired scotch oven. The Bakery is located in a quiet area of Dunkeld in a close vicinity of the Dunkeld Community Centre and the community artist's studio, Off The Rails. The Bakery specialises in handcrafted sourdough bread, gourmet pies, pastries and cakes. You can also enjoy here specialty teas and locally roasted Rox coffee. The picturesque bakery and cafe is open Thursday - Monday (closed Tuesdays & Wednesdays) selling freshly baked sourdough, handcrafted pastries, muffins and tarts. The cafe does a smashing all day breakfast and offers freshly made pies and sausage rolls from 11am. Attached to the cafe is the old baker's residence open to public as accommodation.
