Rosebrae Cottage was built in the 1860s as the Methodist Manse. Watervale is one of the small towns of the Clare Valley and home of some of Australia's outstanding Riesling wines. There are several wineries with cellar door sales in the immediate neighbourhood and some well recommended restaurants are not far away. Rosebrae is a very comfortable sandstone cottage standing in its own large block with a beautiful garden of roses and a variety of well-established trees and shrubs. The cottage is 100 metres from the Riesling Trail for walking and cycling. Bikes can be hired from Clare Valley Cycle Hire and bikes can be delivered and collected from the cottage for a small extra charge. All in all a very good base from which to explore the charm and beauty of the Clare Valley....
